The Most Worshipful Grand Lodge of South India solemnly convened its 30th Half-Yearly Communication on Saturday, the 31st of January 2026, at Hotel Grand Regent, Coimbatore. This distinguished Communication was held under the authority of the Grand Lodge and in accordance with the ancient usages, established customs, and revered traditions of the Craft.
The Communication was graced by the presence of the Most Worshipful the Grand Master, the Right Worshipful and Very Worshipful Grand Officers, Worshipful Masters, Past Masters, and Brethren representing the various Lodges under the Jurisdiction. The proceedings were conducted with due solemnity, dignity, and decorum, reflecting the unity, discipline, and fraternal spirit that characterise the Grand Lodge of South India.
A moment of historic significance during the Communication was the formal unveiling of the newly adopted emblem of the Grand Lodge of South India. This emblem, embodying both continuity and renewal, was unveiled as a symbol of the Jurisdiction’s steadfast adherence to its ancient heritage while embracing a progressive vision for the future.
The Communication was further distinguished by the formal launch of the official website of the Grand Lodge of South India. The proceedings having been concluded in peace, harmony, and concord, the Brethren retired from Labour to refreshment, where they were joined by their families at the Festive Board.
