The United Grand Lodges of India comprises of two Grand Lodges, Grand Lodge of Upper India and Grand Lodge of South India.
Grand Lodge of Upper India established in January1995 has its office in Chandigarh in North India. Grand Lodge of South India established in May 1995 has its office in Coimbatore in the state of Tamil Nadu. The United Grand Lodges of India was established in August 2001.
United Grand Lodges of India are now in friendly relationship with over 20 Grand Lodges of Europe, South America and Asia.
The Grand Council is the advisory body of the
United Grand Lodges of India.MW Bro. Dr. P. S. Egan, Past Grand Master of the
Grand Lodge of Upper India, is the
President of the Grand Council and has been re-elected
for another term of three years (2016–2019).
MW Bro. Philip R. J. Fowler, Past Grand Master of the
Grand Lodge of South India, serves as the
Grand Secretary General of the Grand Council.
MW Bro. Michel Singer is the
Special Representative for the Masonic Fraternity of Europe.
The Masonic Fraternity of Upper India consists of three Disciplines:
- Craft – Grand Lodge of Upper India
- Mark and Royal Ark Mariners – Grand Mark Lodge of Upper India
- Holy Royal Arch Chapter – Supreme Grand Chapter of Upper India

The Masonic Fraternity of South India also consists of three Disciplines: –
MW Bro. V. Rajkumar has been installed Grand Master in the Craft Obedience of Grand Lodge of South India for 2019-21.
MW Bro. E.K. Nagarajan been installed Grand Master of the Grand Mark Lodge (and Order of Royal Ark Mariner) of South India for 2019-21.
M.E. Comp. E.K. Nagarajan has also been installed First Grand Principal of the Supreme Grand Chapter of South India for 2019-21.
